Grown in the lush highlands of Shantawene, nestled within Ethiopia’s famed Sidamo region, Shanta showcases the very best of what Grade 1 natural coffees from this area can deliver. Produced by smallholder farmers at elevations above 1,900 MASL, this coffee benefits from cool mountain air, rich volcanic soil, and traditional sun-drying methods that bring out vibrant, fruit-forward complexity.
This natural-processed heirloom lot is carefully sorted and dried on raised beds for up to 20 days, allowing the full character of the coffee cherry to infuse the bean. The result is a cup that bursts with wild berry brightness, florals, and delicate stone fruit sweetness, all layered over a silky body and clean finish.
