About the Farm
This is a region of unique climate and topography as it's surrounded by the national park called the "Parque Nacional Caparao' a representative area of native rainforest know as Mata Atlantica. In this region it has been registered the lowest temperatures of both states, Minas Gerais and Espirito Santos. A microclimate that promotes production of high quality coffee due tot he slow maturation of the cherries and as a result a later harvest up to Nov/Dec known as the 'flowers of March'.
This little spot with it's magic spell keeps the simplicity of the families lifestyle where coffee is their own source of income. The pursuit for quality improvement is increasing and different processes are being applied to generate diversity.
Producers explore different drying processes by varying from one harvest to another from natural, pulped natural, honey to controlled fermantation.
