Brisbane Open House event comes to our Neighbourhood
We had a fantastic night here at Neighbourhood holding an event for the Brisbane Open House scheme. They asked us to host a talk about revitalising industrial spaces.
We would like to thank BOH for involving us, we are excited to be here in our old Mercedes Benz workshop and love the idea of re-using, re-cycling..it really fits our personal beliefs and ethos. Some pics of the night below!

Below is the introduction that they gave us on the website...
If done right and situated well, a collective of makers can assist in the organic development of an industrial area into an exciting, thriving urban pocket. Meet some of the key players involved in Brisbane’s newly developed industrial precinct - Albion Fine Trades, home to a collective of locally recognised food and design-focused ‘makers’, as they discuss the challenges and benefits of stimulating a place-based rejuvenation.
Join Andrew Tynan (Albion Fine Trades) as he facilitates a panel discussion between David Twohill (Twohill and James Architects), Alex Donald (RL57) and Alex Ridgway (Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters).
Refreshments available on arrival at Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters. This event has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Jocelyn’s Provisions, Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters and Bacchus Wine Merchants.
